EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Right of Withdrawal
According to the new European Union legislation, amending Directive (EU) 2023/2673, the right of withdrawal grants the consumer a 14-day cooling-off period from delivery of the goods or the conclusion of the service contract (excluding digital services already downloaded by the consumer) to withdraw from distance and off-premises contracts for online purchases, without any explanation or cost. It is therefore possible to cancel the order by completing the withdrawal form provided by the seller on this page within 14 days of receiving the goods and receive a full refund for the items purchased, including shipping costs. If the consumer is not informed of their rights, the withdrawal period is extended to 12 months.
Deadlines and Return Procedures
The consumer has 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify the seller of their intention to withdraw by completing the appropriate form at the bottom of this page.
Return of Goods and Costs
From the moment the consumer communicates their intention to withdraw from the contract, they have an additional 14 days to return the goods to the sender. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for returning the goods.
Refund
Within 14 days of the consumer's receipt of the goods, or of proof of shipment in the case of goods returned by registered mail, the seller is required to refund the consumer the full purchase price, excluding the shipping costs the consumer paid for the return of the goods.
Exceptions
Exemptions do not apply in several circumstances, such as:
-
perishable goods
-
personalized goods (signed copies, book boxes, handmade items)
-
sealed goods opened by the consumer that cannot be returned for health reasons
-
downloaded digital content
